Performs professional, supervisory, administrative work assisting overall management of OHA; involves planning, coordinating and implementing agency wide initiatives such as HOPE VI, grant programs, community and supportive services, HOPE VI Homeownership, neighborhood network grant and ROSS Homeownership; participates in long range, 5-year, annual and strategic plans; participates in agency wide financial sources and development; directs staff; monitors program progress, ensures compliance with regs and statutes; grant applications, budgets, development production projections and various documents requiring approvals and funding; assists Executive Director as member of Planning and Development and HOPE VI teams.
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Public Administration or other management-based degree;  Knowledge of Public Housing/HUD policies, relevant federal/state/local laws pertaining to public/subsidized housing.  Must have Public Housing Manager (PHM) certification or pass the exam within one year.  Must reside within 25 mile radius of OHA Central Office.  Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.  This is a contract position.  Minimum starting salary $32,219.00.  Open until filled.
