Family Services
The Family
Services Department (FSD) serves as the nucleus of Supportive Services for the
Housing Authority of the City of Orlando, Florida (OHA).
The department advances
OHA’s
mission by administering various programs designed to enhance the social and
economic conditions of residents utilizing Public Housing and Section 8
Programs.
Family
Services outreach initiatives are supported by grants solicited by the Housing
Authority on behalf of the residents, from in-kind and financial contributions
from Community Partners, and the Housing Authority.
Programs
administered by the FSD include; Information and Referral Services;
Comprehensive Case Management; and supportive and educational services.
All programs are designed to improve the quality of life of our clients.
