The Orlando Housing Authority (OHA) is seeking public input on the draft Moving to Work (MTW) Fiscal Year (FY) 2016/Year 5 Plan. The Plan describes OHA’s MTW Program activities designed to (1) increase self-sufficiency among families served, (2) reduce costs and achieve greater cost effectiveness in Federal expenditures, and (3) increase housing choices for low-income families. The Plan delineates implementation strategies and timeframes for proposed and approved activities and uses of MTW funds for the period of April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016.
The draft MTW Year 5 Plan was published on September 15, 2014 and OHA accepted comments on the Plan until October 16, 2014, when the public comment period closed. OHA, however, proposes changes to the Plan; these changes are posted on OHA’s website. In addition, OHA proposes to amend its MTW Year 4 Plan; these changes are also posted on OHA’s website. Therefore, the public comment period is reopened and extended until Wednesday, November 26, 2014. More Info>>
