NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND PUBLIC HEARING ON HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF ORLANDO, FLORIDA PROPOSED MOVING TO WORK (MTW) PLAN
FOR YEAR 2 (APRIL 1, 2012 to MARCH 31, 2013).
OHA is
seeking public input on its
draft MTW Plan for Year 2, which describes
planned activities to increase self-sufficiency among families served,
increase cost effectiveness in the delivery of services, and/or to expand
housing choices for low-income families served. The draft plan also
delineates implementation strategies/timeframes for planned activities and
proposed uses of MTW funds for the period April 1, 2012 through March 31,
2013.

MISREPRESENTATION OF THE FACTS
The recent television news report and newspaper article regarding the
Orlando Housing Authoritys implementation of the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act funds misrepresented my comments. WDBO is a local radio
news station in Orlando, FL. WDBO News Reporter, Drew Petrimouix,
interviewed me Monday, June 7, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. regarding the Government
Accountability Audit Office audit that was conducted in March 2010.
